Position Description

Title: RN-ER

Location: Yuma, AZ 85364

Duration: Permanent Full-Time

Shift: Varies, 12 hours, nights

Pay Range: $39- $51 (DOE) + Benefits

Job Description

  • Quickly assessing patients' medical conditions and prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition.
  • Immediately stabilizing patients and providing immediate support to minimize negative long-term effects.
  • Administering emergency medications, starting IVs, setting broken bones, performing tracheotomies and intubations, and stitching wounds.
  • Using advanced monitoring equipment to monitor patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and oxygen saturation levels.
  • Working with other healthcare professionals to develop care plans, coordinate diagnostic tests, and facilitate patient disposition.
  • Creating and maintaining patient records.
  • Discharging patients from the ER when they're stable.

Required Qualifications:

  • Looking for someone who is well-rounded.
  • Must have a minimum of 2+ years ED / ICU critical care RN experience.
  • Must have experience in Trauma Level 1 or 2 within the last 2 years.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS & NIHSS.
  • Graduation in nursing with an accredited college.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • TNCC Certified.
  • Gun Shot Wound and Stabbing experience is a bonus.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing.
